Alena Dlin, CPA

Alena brings over 20 years of diverse experience in public and corporate accounting, financial reporting, internal and external audit, technical accounting research, implementation of new accounting standards, preparation of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP, tax for individuals and small businesses. The sectors of focus include service, retail, SAAS and IT organizations, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing industries.  

Prior to obtaining her B.S in Accounting from Temple University, Alena started her career as a staff accountant working for a local sole proprietor David E. Klein, CPA, who was known to be the top 3 peer reviewers in Pennsylvania. After graduation, Alena joined Audit & Assurance practice at Deloitte & Touche LLP.  Subsequently she has held a variety of roles with progressing responsibilities at Fortune 500 companies such as Johnson & Johnson and a national size firm Cherry Bekaert LLC. Throughout her career, she gained extensive experience in applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), accounting automation concepts, managing and executing financial statement audits, financial statement preparation, developing process documentation and internal control framework. 

Alena has a CPA license from the state of Pennsylvania and is a member of AICPA. She wants to bring her passion for and knowledge of accounting, finance, audit, and automation to small and medium tier businesses.
